Renee brings 14 years of legal experience to the law firm of Manson & Karbank. She has experience working as a paralegal in the fields of family law, employment law and civil litigation. Renee is the firm's office manager.
Therese Broome
Therese brings 12 years of legal experience, and over 20 years of accounting and financial experience to the law firm of Manson & Karbank. She graduated cum laude from Rockhurst College in Kansas City, MO with an accounting degree and was recognized for getting one of the highest scores in the nation on the CPA exam. Therese has experience working as a paralegal in the fields of Family Law, Domestic Relations and Mediation, Personal Injury, Real Estate and Civil Law.
Diane Margolies
Ms. Margolies has worked as a paralegal since 1986. She has extensive experience in various areas of litigation including commercial, complex class action, mass tort, product liability and railroad crossing cases. Ms. Margolies holds a Master of Arts Degree in Conflict Management and Dispute Resolution (CMDR) from Baker University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from Washburn University. Ms. Margolies served as a volunteer mediator for the Johnson County Small Claims Court as part of her practicum for Baker University. Ms. Margolies is currently pursuing a Master of Science Degree in Family Therapy from Friends University. She is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), Kansas Association for Marriage & Family (KAMFT), and the Greater Kansas City Chapter of the Missouri Division of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (GKC). Ms. Margolies is a trained facilitator for the PREPARE/ENRICH Program. She is working toward the completion of her clinical training as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern at The Salvation Army Harbor Light Village, Vet Program in Kansas City, Kansas as well as the Child Abuse Prevention Association (CAPA) in Independence, Missouri.
